and Regan Smith to the list of confirmed entries for the June 28th Pro
All Stars Series (PASS) North super late model race at All-Star
Speedway.
Busch currently sits atop the Sprint Cup standings in his #18 Joe
Gibbs Racing M&Ms Toyota Camry, while Smith resides in the 30th spot
in the #01 Dale Earnhardt Incorporated Principal Financial Services
Chevrolet Impala SS.
Both Busch and Smith have PASS North starts under their belt, and
they'll be tackling one of the toughest tracks on the PASS North
schedule. In fact, Busch was stripped of a 2007 PASS North win at the
Epping New Hampshire oval after a rules infraction.. Smith earned a
third place finish in last seasons' IWK 250 at Nova Scotia's Riverside
Speedway, so he's proven he can run with the big dogs of the east's
fasted full fendered racing series, too.
They'll both have all they can handle from the PASS North regulars,
and there's always a handful of "All-Star specialists' that look
forward to challenging the touring regulars on their home turf.
The tight All –Star Speedway quarter mile is one of the "raciest"
short tracks in the northeast and two groove racing abounds. The
speedway has produced some of the most exciting events in PASS Norths'
eight year history, and the addition of Busch and Smith to the lineup
adds yet another dimension to an already exciting event.
