CHARLOTTE, NC (January 21) – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) President
Tom Mayberry is proud to announce that the PASS South Super Late
Models will compete at the New Senoia Speedway in Senoia, GA in 2009.
The race will be on Saturday, June 20th and will mark the first visit
for the Nation's top Super Late Models to the 3/8 mile oval. In
addition to the PASS South Super Late Models racing, New Senoia
support divisions will also race including the Outlaw Late Models,
Sportsman, and Modified Mini Stock. The race at New Senoia Speedway
continues PASS's commitment to racing in the South and throughout the
Eastern Seaboard.
"Stock car racing has a long and storied history in Georgia. We are
very glad that the PASS South Super Late Models will be racing at New
Senoia Speedway and look to continue the great heritage of racing in
Georgia," said Mayberry. "There are a lot of great Super Late Model
racers in Georgia and we can't wait to bring guys from all over the
Southeast to race at New Senoia.
There is one date left to be filled on the fourteen race 2009 schedule
for the PASS South Super Late Models. Expect an announcement in the
coming weeks of a major event to be added to the schedule for the
month of September.
PASS South Super Late Model action kicks off in 2009 with the running
of the 4th annual South Carolina Clash at the Dillon Motor Speedway
on March 13th & 14th. Practice will be on Friday, March 13th from 3
to 6 PM with the PASS South Awards Banquet to follow that evening at
the Kintyre House in Dillon, SC. On Saturday, March 14th, the PASS
South Super Late Models will practice and qualify, followed by racing
in local divisions and the 4th Annual South Carolina Clash. Dillon
Motor Speedway is located in Dillon, SC, just off Interstate 95 exit
191 on SC Highway 9.
