Former NASCAR Rookie of the Year Mike Johnson to Join 10th Annual
Busch Sport Scene Charity event

2000 NASCAR Busch North Series Rookie of the Year Mike Johnson will be
among the racers heading to Maine for the 10th annual Busch Sport
Scene Snowmobile Ride for Charity.

Johnson is among the top 20 in all time NASCAR Busch North / Camping
World Series wins and pole awards. His seven career wins are one shy
of 13th place all-time, only three NASCAR CWS drivers have won more
races in this decade.

Johnson made his NASCAR debut in 2000, joining a very select few to
win a race in their rookie season. Mike followed up his great rookie
year just missing a championship title in 2001 when he finished the
year second in points behind Mike Olsen. He finished in the top ten in
points each year he ran a full schedule. Two of his seven career wins
came at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine. Mike's
biggest career win was actually a non-points win that came in 2004
when he won the prestigious NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown.

Johnson will bring many members of his race team with him to Rangeley
for the weekend. He will join many racers at the event including 2008
NASCAR Camping World Series Champion Matt Kobyluck. He will also join
Kobyluck as a guest on the Mainely Motorsports TV show, that will be
taping at the Club House on the day of the event.

"Mike has been a great supporter of this event over the years," event
organizer and Busch Sport Scene publisher George Campbell said. "He
and his team have been regular riders for the past few years, and
always add a lot of fun to the mix at the party that night. It makes
me very happy that one of the NASCAR Grand National Series best
drivers of this decade is such a strong supporter of our event."

The event includes a Poker Run snowmobile ride during the day followed
by a full evening of entertainment. The proceeds go to several
charities including the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Maine Special
Olympics, Travis Roy Foundation, Rangeley Snowmobile Club, Busch Sport
Scene Scholarship Fund and the Camping World Series Women's Auxiliary
and their various charities.

Credentials for the event can be purchased for $10 in advance either
at the Club House, the Rangeley Chamber or from Busch Sport Scene. The
tickets will be $15 the day of the event. Busch Sport Scene is a New
England based sports magazine. Current Busch Sport Scene subscribers
will receive a $5 discount on the day of the event, as will NASCAR,
PASS & ACT team members that present their licenses.

For room availability or directions, you can call the Rangeley Chamber
of Commerce at 1-800-MT-LAKES. For more details, or to become a part
