Matt Kobyluck Heads For Busy Off Season

Matt Kobyluck Heads For Busy Off Season

Uncasville, Conn. (January 11, 2009): The 2008 season came
to a close last month when Matt Kobyluck, driver of the #40 Mohegan
Sun Casino Chevrolet's in the NASCAR Camping World Series East, was
crowned champion, but Kobyluck will have little time to spare this
month as he begins a full slate of appearances. It kicks off this
weekend with an autograph session at the 24th Annual Len Sammons
Motorsports Race Car & Trade Show in Atlantic City, NJ.

"We definitely have a lot of things going on," said
Kobyluck. "Probably more than we do during the race season! I'm happy
to go and be an ambassador for this series. I'm pretty excited about
it actually. It's a great time to have a chance to sit and talk with
the fans."

Kobyluck will sign autographs alongside 2008 Whelen
Modified Tour Champion Ted Christopher on Saturday, January 17th from
1-1:30 p.m. at the Racing With Jesus display booth (#1219). The #40
Mohegan Sun Casino Chevrolet will be on display in the booth for the
duration of the show, and will be complimented by Kyle Kobyluck's
winning quarter-midget racer from Little T Speedway.

Kobyluck leaves for California the following day to take
part in a three-day Champion's Tour that will include a photo shoot
for all of NASCAR's national and regional title holders. From there,
Kobyluck will head for Irwindale Speedway, where he will attempt to
defend his 2006 win in the NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown January
23-24th. The competition will air live on SPEED beginning at 7 p.m. PT
both nights.

"No one has ever had a repeat win at the Showdown so we're
hoping to become the first team to do that," said Kobyluck. "We've had
a lot of firsts this year – first championship, first Native American
to win a championship – so it would really be icing on the cake to be
the first team to win this thing twice."

Kobyluck will return home and leave for Maine, where he
will participate in the 5th Annual Andy Santerre Sno-Run. The event
raises money for Aroostook Mental Health Center's sexual assault
victim services. The Saturday, February 7th, 2009 event will kick-off
with a 100 mile snowmobile run led by four-time Busch North Champion,
ASM team owner and event leader, Andy Santerre. The event day also
offers an autograph session, social hour, benefit dinner and charity
auction.

Kobyluck will also attend SpeedwayExpo presented by Sunoco
at the Big E in Springfield, Mass. Feb. 27-March 1st, where he will
have the car on display in the Lime Rock Park booth. The 38-year-old
driver will also sign autographs at the show.
