Late Model Triple Crown Series Lands Sponsor

Late Model Triple Crown Series Lands Sponsor

Wiscasset, ME- Track owners Doug and Becky White from Wiscasset
Raceway, George Fernald from Unity Raceway and Del Merrit and Alice
Baker from Speedway 95 have announced the title sponsor for the new
late model triple crown series. Linnehans Credit Now will be the
supporter for this new series which will have three races in 2009. The
first being at Wiscasset Raceway on May 30th and from there going to
Speedway 95 on September 12th and finishing up at Unity October 10th
and 11th on Long John weekend. Although the number of laps and the
purse has yet to be decided for the tour, many things have been set in
stone. The rules, which are the same for this division at all three
tracks will be the ones enforced and all three tech inspectors (Bret
Mank, Ed Drake and Alan Jewett) will be at each event keeping the
competition on there toes. To help get the cars from each track to go
to the other two tracks a blanket point system will be in use. What
this means is that each driver who races will not only be given the
points they accumulate on the tour but each driver will also be given
fifty points to go towards their home track points standings. For more
information you can contact any of the speedways listed and check out
Linnehans Credit Now, online at www.creditnow.com or by calling
1-866-864-9899.
