PASS 400 Weekend: Pits Packed on Picture Perfect Practice Day

Scarborough ME – (September 19, 2008) It's a picture perfect late
summer's day at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, and 136 race teams of
every description are taking advantage of a six hour practice session
for PASS 400 Weekend. The Friday afternoon practice session coincides
with race time here at the Ridge this weekend, so it's the perfect
opportunity for drivers and teams to get dialed in.

More than 200 teams are expected to pack the pit area tomorrow morning
when the action gets underway in earnest.

Saturday, September 20th is qualifying day for all divisions,
including the PASS Super Late Models, PASS Mods and Pluffybilt Racing
Tractors Sportsman. Saturday's card will be highlighted by the winged
warriors of the Northeastern Midget Association. It's their first
appearance with the Pro All Stars Series, and the 900th NEMA
sanctioned midget race in the series' 50-plus year history. Also on
tap are features for the Roadrunners, Wildcats and NEMA Lite open
wheelers.

Sunday September 21st, it's the $10,000.00 to win PASS 300 for the
Super Late Models, a 100 lap PASS Pluffybilt Racing Tractors Sportsman
feature and 50 laps for the PASS Mods.

Grandstands open at 10:00 AM both Saturday and Sunday, and the on
track action gets underway at noon.

A detailed schedule for the entire PASS 400 weekend is available at
