MacDonald Completes Sweep Of New Hampshire

LOUDON, N.H. (Sept. 13, 2008) – Eddie MacDonald drove around Steve
Park for the lead coming out of Turn 4 to the white flag lap en route
to winning the Heluva Good! Fall 125 Saturday morning at New Hampshire
Motor Speedway.

The win gave the Rowley, Mass., driver a season sweep of the NASCAR
Camping World Series East events at the 1.058-mile oval. He is the
third driver to accomplish that feat, following Mike McLaughlin in
1992 and Joey Logano in 2007. MacDonald led four times for 59 laps.

Park held on for second, followed by points leader Matt Kobyluck. Matt
Hirschman, making his NASCAR Camping World Series East debut, finished
fourth, and rookie Austin Dillon rounded out the top five. Kobyluck
leads second-place Dillon by 192 points with two races remaining.

Joe Polewarczyk, Mike Olsen, Trevor Bayne, Bryon Chew and Jeff Anton
completed the top 10.

Scott and Demers Team up for ACT Race at Oxford

OXFORD, ME – A pair of Vermont stock car drivers will team up
for the New England Dodge Dealers 150 at
Maine's Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday, as Phil Scott of
Montpelier sits in for South Burlington driver
Trampas Demers in the Jiffy Mart #85VT Chevrolet. Demers' car owner,
Charlie Smith, ranks 21st in American-
Canadian Tour Late Model Owner's Championship standings, less than 100
points from the Top 10 with two events
remaining. Demers is overseas on business, and Scott, the 2002 ACT
champion, was called upon by Smith to take the
seat at Oxford.
"We're excited to have Phil Scott step in while Trampas is
gone," said Smith. "Obviously, Trampas would
rather race himself, but given the circumstances, we figured we would
ask a veteran driver that is capable of
giving us some positive feedback on the race car. Phil is very good,
he's not a driver that tears up equipment,
and we're not just going to take a lap and pull him off the track.
We're headed to Oxford with every good piece
we have, just as though Trampas were driving."
Scott will be the third pilot of the #85VT car this season, as
both Demers and his father, veteran racer
Dennis Demers, have tallied points for the team. Scott, on the other
hand, has already raced for two other car
owners this season, himself and Pete Duto. Duto's ride sits seventh
in Owner's Championship standings with a
combined driving effort from Scott and Brad Leighton.
"Honestly, I was shocked when Trampas and Charlie asked me to
drive for them," said Scott. "It takes a
lot of character for a race car driver to trust someone else with his
car, and I have a lot of respect for Trampas
and Charlie asking me to fill in. It's an honor, really, and I'll go
to Oxford and try to win the race for them."
ACT Late Model Tour point leader Scott Payea of Milton, VT
leads Montréal's Patrick Laperle by 42 points,
750-708, entering the New England Dodge Dealers 150 on Saturday.
Seven-time ACT champion Jean-Paul Cyr ranks
third at 681 points, with John Donahue (649) and Randy Potter (641)
completing the top five. Other star drivers
expected include Brent Dragon, top-ten ACT driver and former Oxford
Plains Speedway standout Glen Luce, and recent
Oxford ACT winners Ricky Rolfe and Joey "Pole" Polewarczyk, Jr.
Newly-crowned OPS track champion Travis Adams has
also filed an entry for the New England Dodge Dealers 150, a race in
which he earned his first-ever ACT Late Model
Tour victory last year.

Jay Fogleman Scores First PASS South Win

Jay Fogleman surprised even himself when he drove his JFco Motorsports
Ford No. 4 Super Late Model to victory on Sept. 6 in the Daniel Boone
Classic 125 PASS South race at Newport (Tenn.) Speedway.

"We really ran good," said the short-track racing veteran from Durham,
N.C., a regular in the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series. "We were running
third late in the race when the leaders got tangled up in front of us;
I think someone had a tire go down. They got together and we were
there to take advantage of it."

Until this season Fogleman had never driven an offset chassis,
straight-rail Super Late Model, building his career in Late Model
Stock Cars before running some in what is now the Nationwide Series
and settling in Pro Cup. But there's nothing like a win to keep a
racer coming back for more.

"I really enjoy running with PASS," Fogleman said. "I'm not running
for points, so it's pretty low-key, and there's no stress. It's me and
the guys in my shop going racing.

"It's extremely competitive," Fogleman continued. "There are seven to
ten serious operations over there. The series fits me because it's a
tire-management series, and I learned how to manage tires early in my
career; when I raced Late Models at Orange County and South Boston the
features were 150 laps. And the double-file restarts make it exciting
for the fans and fun to race."

Fogleman's using an old car he obtained from Gary St. Amant to run in
PASS this year, but he may have something new in 2009.

"I'm going to have to buckle down to do more PASS racing next season,"
Fogleman said. "This old car served its purpose, though; I really
didn't expect to win so soon. That just shows what a good job Jeremy
Upchurch and Will Bradford have done at the shop and helping me at the
track. We're definitely going to do more of this next year when it
doesn't conflict with my Hooters deal."

The Mason-Dixon 500 at South Boston Speedway and the Thanksgiving
Classic at Southern National Raceway Park are next up on Fogleman's
PASS schedule.

"I'm looking forward to those races," he said. "I like the tracks, and
I think we'll run pretty good. Mostly I think we'll have fun."

PASS South takes a two week break before returning to action on
Saturday September 27th at Hickory (NC) Motor Speedway for the Over
the Mountain 150.

The Northeastern Midget Association will run its 900th feature this
Friday night, Sept. 13 at Lee USA Speedway. The milestone comes in the
club's 57th season. It will be the 13th feature of the season and the
second at Lee. NEMA, born in the late winter of 1953 in the Thompson
(Conn.) Speedway clubhouse, will "properly acknowledge" the milestone.
The first race was at Seekonk Speedway on May 30, 1953. Fred Meeker,
in the Kernan #17, beat Al Pillion and Cliff Riggot.

"This is, of course, of great significance," says NEMA President Mike
Scrivani Jr. "The club has such a great history and what's so great is
many of the people who have made major contributions are still
around." It has taken NEMA almost exactly eight years to go from
feature No. 800 – Aug. 17, 2001 at Oxford Plains (Jim Miller was the
winner) – to 900. The 500th feature was at Monadnock in 1982 and was
won by Drew Fornoro in the Angelillo 45. Point leader Randy Cabral
(Bertrand 47) tops the list of 2008 winners with five. Bobby Santos
III (Santos 98) has three, Greg Stoehr (Stoehr 29b) two and Joey Payne
Jr. (Angelillo 45) and Chris Abold (Seymour 29) one each.

All had strong runs at Lee on June 27, a win for Santos over Cabral
and Payne. Cabral's teammate Jeremy Frankoski, Adam Cantor, (Cantor
7ny) Mike Keeler (Seamon 63) and Erica Santos (Breault 44) head up a
list of those ready to grab a checkered. It will be the 26th race at
Lee dating back to 1966. Jeff Horn leads active drivers with three Lee
wins.

Making victory even more lucrative is joining the list of other
milestone winners: Jerry Russo (the 100th), Dave Humphrey (200th and
300th), Arnold Holly (400th), Bobby Seymour (600th) and Russ Stoehr
(700th). Dave Humphrey and Nokie Fornoro have each won the 13th race
of the season five times. Cabral has won two of the last three
including last year.

Ryan Newman, the 2008 Daytona 500 winner, has signed on to drive the
Bertrand Motorsports #39 Drinan in Northeastern Midget Association
action at Lee USA Speedway, Friday night, Sept. 12. The popular Newman
adds luster to what will be the 900th feature in NEMA's 57-year
history. He'll be part of a three-car Bertrand effort that also
includes current point leader Randy Cabral and 2007 rookie of the year
Jeremy Frankoski. Newman will join a stellar field looking to grab the
milestone win. Cabral (5), Greg Stoehr (2), Joey Payne and Jeff Abold
all hope to win again. A number of competitors including Frankoski,
Mike Keeler and Erica Santos have been very close. Bobby Santos III (3
wins) will not be at Lee, due to a previous commitment to run at
O'Reilly Raceway Park in the mid-west, however Lou Cicconi Jr. will
pilot the #98 Santos machine.

The No. 39 is of significance to the one-time USAC standout that is
presently driving the Sprint Cup Alltel Dodge for Penske Racing. It
was the number on his last Midget (also a Drinan) and will be the
number of his 2009 Cup ride with Stewart-Hass Racing. A Purdue
University grad, Newman is no stranger to open cockpit racing in
general and midgets in particular. Prior to moving to NASCAR, Newman
had a successful six-year run with USAC capped off by the Coors Light
Silver Bullet national championship in 1999. USAC's 1995 Midget Rookie
of the Year, he had 13 Midgets win before moving to the stock cars in
2001. He was second in the 1999 Midget standings.

The popular Hoosier also has two Silver Crown and two USAC Sprint Car
wins. The Newman-Bertrand arrangement adds to NEMA's long history that
began on Memorial Day, 1953 at Seekonk Speedway. The NEMA Lites will
also be returning to Lee. Since joining Penske, Newman has 13 Sprint
Cup, seven Busch (now Nationwide) and four ARCA wins.

Award-winning recording artists Diamond Rio will headline a
spectacular pre-race show at the SYLVANIA 300 on Sunday, September 14
at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. In addition to a sizzling, 45-minute
concert, the band will also perform the National Anthem for the more
than 105,000 guests in attendance at the speedway and a live TV
audience of millions on ABC. Diamond Rio continues to be one of the
most successful groups in country music. Their 1991 debut album went
platinum. One year later the band was awarded their first Country
Music Association Vocal Group of the Year award. Their impressive
resume to date includes: over 10 million records sold; nine No. 1
hits; 15 singles in the Top-Five; and six Vocal Group of the Year
awards from an incredible mix of music associations.

They were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 1998. Often recognized
for their charitable contributions, Diamond Rio has received the
coveted Minnie Pearl Humanitarian Award. They are well known for their
role as the National Spokespersons for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Gappens, executive vice president and general manger of New Hampshire
Motor Speedway. "We're working to build a tradition of exciting and
popular pre-race entertainment here for our fans. I think the fans
will really enjoy this talented group."

Last Saturday's weather problems resulted in All-Star Speedway in
Epping, NH pulling the plug on its annual ISMA Super-Modified Classic.
It's been rescheduled to this Saturday night starting at 5 p.m. It's
also an opportunity for fans coming or going to NHMS in Loudon, NH to
take in a great open wheel show after the Whelen Modified Tour and
NASCAR Craftsman Truck event.

It's a busy NASCAR weekend at NHMS in Loudon, NH. Friday's schedule
includes the Camping World East Series plus practice and qualifying
sessions for the Sprint Cup, Whelen Modified Tour and the Craftsman
Truck Series. Saturday has the Whelen Mod Tour 100 and the Craftsman
Truck 300. Sunday's marquee event is the Sylvania 300 Nextel Cup
event.

The drivers had to wait a day as persistent showers rolled in on
Saturday afternoon, postponing all the activities until Sunday
afternoon, but when it was all said and done, all eight divisions
provided the fans with some awesome entertainment at the P.A.S.S.
sanctioned, Riverside Speedway in Groveton, New Hampshire.

It was round #3 of the Bond Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, and
eighteen of the top North Country Ford Late Model drivers in the
northeast rolled to the starting grid for the 100 lap, $1,000 to win
main event. Only four minor cautions slowed the event and when the
checkers flew, Quinney Welch led the field across the stripe grabbing
the $1,000 payday. The Mason brothers, Bryan and Corey placed second
and third ahead of Mike Kenison and Floyd Bennett. By virtue of his
fourth place finish, Mike Kenison captured the series championship.
Heat wins went to Pete Gilcris, Grant Folsom and Welch.

The Optical Expressions Outlaws had a new winner as Dan Sidney held
off a late race challenge from Doug Laleme to gather his first career
Outlaw victory. It was no easy task as Laleme tried every move in the
book over the final five laps, but just didn't have enough to get by.
Steve Patnaude, Reggie Theroux and David Ofsuryk Jr. completed the top
five. Laleme won the qualifying round. The Budweiser Super Stocks
continue to impress as they had only a pair of minor cautions. Jamie
Swallow Sr. held off a determined Jeff Fysh to nail down the win.
Brian Gosselin, Luke Shannon and Jamie Swallow Jr. completed the top
five. Swallow and Gosselin won their respective heats.

Point leader, Shawn Swallow made a bold move on the last lap to
capture another victory in the River Bend RV Street Stocks. He edged
out Chris Caron. Michael Smith, Alex Theroux and Kevin Whittum Jr.
rounded out the top five. Heat checkers flew for Tyler Therrien and
Swallow. The Twisted Tea Dwarf Cars were out in force on Sunday, and
Ernie Laplant held off Eric Hall to claim another win. Dave Gyger
rolled home third ahead of Bobby Riley and Dana Huoppi. Laplant and
Gyger carried preliminary checkers. Vanessa Brown closed up the
point's battle with a solid victory in the Leo Enos Landscaping
Angels. Johanna Christman, Lyndsay Christman, Miranda Gervais, and
Traci Nelson followed.

Benjamin Belanger scored another win in the Kids Only Daycare
Daredevils Rookie main, as he bested Shauna Randall, Aaron Poulin,
Nick Gilcris and Randy Whittum. Jesse Switser held off Brandon Lambert
to score the win in the Veterans class. Kyle Pembroke, Dilyn Switser
and Brett Gervais followed. Anthony Hill carried his first checkered
flag of the season as he defeated Rick Utley Jr., Cody Leblanc, Jeff
Ainsworth and Loren Vear in the Jiffy Mart Cyclone 50.

Here's what else is going on in the North Country this weekend. Beech
Ridge in Scarborough, ME has its Night of Destruction on Friday with
the Canaan (NH) dirt track, Madog in Winchester, NH has a NASCAR
program that night at 6 p.m. Also Riverside in Groveton, NH has the
Bear Ridge Modified Challenge at 5 p.m.

On Saturday the Challenge for the Mods moves to Bear Ridge in
Bradford, NH. Bullwinkle in Greenville, ME has dirt track racing while
the Canaan (NH) paved track goes that night. Jolly Roger in E.
Lempster, NH hosts the NEDTS flat track motorcycles at 6 p.m. while
Legion in Wentworth, NH has open wheel dirt track action including
sprint cars. Oxford Plains in western Maine hosts an ACT Tour 150 Late
Model event while it's miniature motorsports at RT. 106 Race Park in
Belmont, NH and the same action goes at Sugar Hill in S. Weare, NH.
White Mountain in N. Woodstock offers five divisions of stockcar
racing while Wiscasset on the Maine coast goes with several classes of
racecars.

For the draggers it's busy weekend at Winterport Dragway on the Maine
coast while New England Dragway has a Mopar Festival all day Sunday.
The New England Hill climbers have a big meet at Mt. Ascutney in
Vermont on Saturday and Sunday. Also on Sunday MX 207 in Lyman, Maine
host the NCSC MotoX circuit all day while Spud Speedway in Caribou,
Maine has stockcar action starting at 1 p.m. For the car show crowd
there's a big event on Friday and Saturday at Old Orchard Beach in
Maine.

NEMA Midgets highlight Saturday Action on PASS 400 Weekend

Naples ME - The fourth annual Pro All Stars Series (PASS) 400 weekend
at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway is only two weeks away and series
President Tom Mayberry is pleased to announce the addition of the NEMA
midgets to Saturday's racing card.

Said Mayberry, "I'm excited that we've been able to add the NEMA
midgets to the Saturday September 20th schedule for PASS 400 weekend.
It's their first appearance on the same card with the Pro All Stars,
and I know they will put on a great show. They'll give our fans yet
another reason to make it a racing weekend at Beech Ridge on September
20th and 21st!" .

In addition to the NEMA Midgets and NEMA Lite Series on Saturday,
there'll be qualifying races and features for the Road Runners and the
Wildcats. The PASS Pluffybilt Racing Tractors Sportsman, PASS Mods,
and PASS North Super Late Models will set their respective fields for
Sunday's action.

On Sunday September 21st its' all feature racing; 100 laps for the
PASS Sportsman, 50 laps for the PASS Mods and the big one, 300 laps
and $10,000.00 to win for the PASS North super late models. Look for a
strong contingent of PASS South drivers to make their way to Beech
Ridge for round three of the four-race PASS National Championship
series. Ayden North Carolina teenager John Stancill leads Mainer
Cassius Clark by just two points in the National standings. The entry
list already features drivers from North Carolina, Tennessee, Maine,
Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and New Brunswick Canada.

Gates open at 10:00 AM and the first green flag waves at 12:00 sharp
on both Saturday and Sunday.

Unity Raceway - Sept 5

The pending threat of a hurricane didn't keep the Unity drivers from
putting on a fantastic show. Kyle Gallant jumped to the early heat
race lead in the Men's Peanut division. Ryan Ripley clears the field
from his rear starting position. Ripley cruises on the inside of the
track to pass Gallant and take the heat race win. The feature again
saw Gallant jump to the early race lead. Matt Shaw takes over second.
Cody Sleeper and Chris Williams clear the field and start looking for
the lead pair. Ryan Ripley has already broken into the top five from
his rear starting position. Ripley uses the outside to take fourth
away from Williams. Sleeper has moved around Shaw and is gaining on
Gallant. Ripley moves around the Shaw machine and starts reeling in
the leaders. Ricky Palmer, making his debut in the Men's Peanuts
division, moves around Williams for fifth. Ripley has caught the lead
pair. Three way battle for first. Sleeper tries the inside line for
the lead around Gallant. Sleeper clears Gallant pulling Ripley thru
for second. The caution flag would fly bringing the field together.
Ripley jumps to the lead. Sleeper follows in second. The battle is for
third between Gallant and Palmer. Palmer takes over third. Sleeper has
caught Ripley. The pair go nose to tail to the finish line. Ripley
takes the checkered. Sleeper follows a very close second. Palmer
finishes third but does not pass post race inspection. This moves
Gallant to victory lane in third. Matt Shaw has a fine run in fourth.
Chris Williams has a great run finishing out the top five.

> The Limited division heat race saw a battle between newcomer, Seth Raven, and point leader, Frank Moulton. The pair would battle side by side until Josh St Clair caught the leaders. Josh St Clair would challenge on the outside and take the lead. He would never look back and take the win. The feature would showcase side by side battles the entire race. The first would be between Seth Raven and Joey Doyon. The pair would race side by side for the lead. Doyon would finally clear Raven on the outside. Gary Thorne also tries the outside line around Raven. Frank Moulton follows the pair patiently in fourth. Josh St Clair is making his presence known in the top five. Josh St Clair takes the fourth position from Moulton on the inside. Thorne has cleared Raven and starts reeling in Doyon. Thorne looks to the inside of Doyon for the lead. The pair would go door to door for many laps. That is not the only battle going on. Raven and Josh St Clair are also having a side by side battle. These battles go on for many laps with neither car taking much of a lead. Caution on lap 21 for a spin in turn one would slow the field. Doyon takes the lead from Thorne. Thorne is being challenged by Josh St Clair on the inside. St Clair gets loose down the backstretch allowing Deane Smart to sneak by on the inside. Smart is catching the second place, Thorne. Doyon has pulled away from the field. Smart is all over the back bumper of Thorne. Smart tries the inside around Thorne. The pair would go door to the door the final laps. Thorne drifts wide out of four allowing Smart to get the advantage. Doyon takes the win. Smart battles for second. Thorne follows a close third. Josh St Clair finishes the day on fourth. Seth Raven has a 2008 Unity best finish in fifth.

> The Monsta Mini's saw the return of Duane Dunifer Sr to the field. Dunifer, driving a borrowed car, returned from "The Wreck" of a week ago. The new pony quickly jumped to the front. The field would be closed up as the caution flag would fly. Mike Wilson jumps to the lead on the restart. Wilson cruises to the heat race win. Wilson, with the return of his crew chief, would dust off the mechanical woes of last week and jump to the early race lead. Dunifer would take over second position. Paul Jackson clears the field and runs in third. Steve Moulton, making is 2008 Unity debut, is catching Paul Jackson in fourth. Gary Richards runs in the fifth position. Wilson is driving away from the field. Moulton tries the outside line around Paul Jackson. Moulton clears and starts looking for the second place Dunifer machine. Richards has caught the Paul Jackson machine and challenges on the outside. Paul Jackson would fight back on the inside. The pair would go door to door. They catch a lapped car going into turn one. The three cars would spin bringing out the caution. All cars were able to continue at the rear of the field. The restart would find Dunifer in the turn one bank after bouncing off another car. This would force Dunifer to the rear of the field. Wilson would take the lead on the restart. Paul Jackson and Moulton battle for the second spot. The pair would race to the wire. Wilson crosses the line first. Paul Jackson, fresh off his Race Your Neighbor dirt bank crash, takes home his first trophy of the 2008 season. Moulton follows a close third. Dunifer recovers for fourth. Matt Picard finds the 04X finishing out the top five.

> The Unity Variety and Video Wildcat's saw a battle between Dustin Hubbard and Troy Patterson for the lead. Hubbard takes the lead on the outside for the heat race win. Patterson leads the pack to the line for the win. Jeff Overlock Jr and Patterson fight for the lead. Carl McAlpine follows the pair in a close third. McAlpine doesn't wait patiently. He darts past the pair on the inside for the lead going into turn three. Dave Brannon, making his 2008 Unity debut, moves around Overlock for second. Patterson is slipping to the rear. Tim Hudson takes over the fourth position. Mike Shaw is having a fine run in fifth. Brannon has caught the leading McAlpine machine. Brannon is all over the rear bumper of McAlpine. The pair has pulled away from the third place, Hudson. Dustin Hubbard has moved past Overlock for the fourth position. McAlpine and Brannon are weaving thru traffic. McAlpine races to the checkered first for the win. Brannon takes home his first trophy from Unity Raceway in second. Tim Hudson joins the pair in Victory Lane for third. Hubbard has a fine run in fourth. Jeff Overlock Jr. finishes out the top five.

> The Enduro class was welcomed to yet another way to start the race. The staggered start from a dead stopped proved interesting for some competitors. Kevin Sherman takes over the early race lead. Ryan Chadwick catches the Sherman machine. The pair catch lapped traffic almost immediately. They continue to weave thru the field. Patrick Cook is still getting use to his new machine follows the pair. The red flag would fly on lap 12 for a crash on the front stretch. The #20 machine of Dan Delano found the dirt. Delano was removed from the car and taken to the pits. The race would continue. Sherman would jump to the lead on the restart. Chadwick would fight back on the inside to regain the lead. Chadwick would take the win. Sherman would follow a close second. Patrick Cook would come home third. Dominic Bailey crosses the line in fourth. Ian Shamp makes his Unity debut in fifth.

> Brad Bellows takes the lead as the green flag flew. Kris Watson challenges Bellows on the outside. Bellows is able to take the lead on the inside pulling Kris Huff with him. Caution on lap 6 puts Bellows on the inside. Huff is able to use the outside line to take the lead on the restart. Bellows challenges on the inside but comes ups short as Huff takes the heat race win. Kris Huff takes the early lead in the feature. Kris Watson clears the field to follow in second. John Kalel, II and Derek Mingo battle for the third spot. Bryan Robbins patiently sits in fifth. Kalel and Mingo come together bringing out the caution. Huff retakes the lead on the restart. Watson follows in second being challenged by Kevin Douglass. Bill Smith and Brad Bellows are running side by side for the fourth position. Douglass takes over second from Watson bringing Bellows with him. Bellows passes Douglass on the inside and looks for the leading Huff. Mark Dodge makes his presence know in the top five passing Bill Smith. Bellows has caught Huff. Dodge is challenging Watson for fourth. Bellows is all over the rear bumper of Huff. Mechanical problems for Bill Smith brings out the caution on lap 21. Huff and Bellows run side by side for the lead. The pair run side by side thru the final laps. Huff is able to cross the line first. Bellows follows a very close second. Douglass makes his 2008 debut to Unity Raceway's Victory Lane. Mark Dodge brings the 73 machine home in fourth. Kris Watson continues with his top five finishes.

> The Geo & Son Teen Thunder division saw a smaller field of cars this race weekend. Track Manager, George Fernald Jr, decided last weekend to end the points battle due to the kids going back to school. This was to allow the kids to participate in school functions. Ben Nile was crowned the 2008 point champion. The smaller field was also due to some drivers moving up into other classes and other with mechanical problems. Point champ, Ben Nile and Brooke Getchell both had their machines home with mechanical problems. Ricky Palmer decided to try his luck in the upper classes. Jeremy Ludden led the field to the green in the heat race. Ludden took the 42 machine to the front and cruised to the heat race win. Lucas Porter would take the lead in the feature. Ludden would try the inside then the outside to take the lead from Porter. Shelby Kimball is following the pair in third. Westley Turner follows the group in his 88X machine. Ludden drives away from Porter. Kimball challenges Porter for second. Ludden increases his lead. Turner puts his sights on the lead pack. Ludden takes the win. Porter follows in second. Kimball takes home her first trophy of the season in third. Turner has his best career finish in fourth.

> Ben Clark and Cary Davis clear the field in the Late Model Pro-4 heat race. The pair would fight for the lead. Clark takes the slight advantage for the win. Corey Walker leads the way pulling Justin Trombley with him. Cary Davis follows in the third position. Rackliff uses the inside line to move into the fourth position. Caution on lap 5 for the spinning Ben Clark closes the field. Walker retakes the lead with Davis all over his bumper. Clark and Jim Dennis battle for third. Rackliff is watching the pair in fifth. Clark is able to clear Dennis with Rackliff following. The lead pack catch lapped traffic. The group touch sending Davis into the infield bringing out the caution. Clark takes the lead on the restart. Walker follows in second. Rackliff passes Walker on the inside. Clark and Rackliff would battle door to door for the lead. Clark drifts wide out of turn four allowing Rackliff to sneak by for the lead. Walker challenges Clark for second. Clark holds off the challenge. Walker tries to hold off the challenge of Davis on the last lap. The pair touch sending them both spinning. August Driver of the Month, Steve Rackliff, continues his winning way. Ben Clark finishes second. Greg Cummings takes home the third place gold. Brother, Norm Cummings Jr, followed Greg in fourth. Cary Davis recovered to finish fifth.

> Molly Feeney uses the high side to take the lead over Melissa Higgins in the Ladies division. Feeney is able to cruise to the heat race win. Melissa Higgins jumps to the early race lead. Shelby Kimball, moving up from the Geo and Sons Teen Thunder division, moves into second. Birthday girl, Mika Wilson, follows Kimball in third. Molly Feeney weaves thru traffic from her rear starting position to take over fourth. Samantha Letourneau follows in fifth. Higgins is driving away from the field. Feeney has used to inside to pass the field and is challenging Kimball for second. Feeney clears Kimball and starts reeling in Higgins. Feeney is able to catch the leading Higgins. The pair race door to door with Feeney taking the lead. Feeney is able to pull away for the race win. Melissa Higgins makes a second trip to Victory Lane in second. Shelby Kimball takes home her second trophy of the race night in third. Mika Wilson has a fine run in fourth. Rhonda Lyford finished out the top five.

(Hermon, Me) Speedway 95 in Hermon held it's final races of 2008 in
the 5 Saturday Night divisions, one day later then planed, after the
remnants of tropical storm Hanna washed out the Saturday nights
action, forcing a Sunday make-up event.

Mathematically clinched, coming into Sunday nights
Pro-Stock finale, Brenton Parritt of Steuben finished, just behind his
teammate Rowland, JR, Rockin' Robinson of Steuben at the checkered
flag. Greg Morse of St. Albans finished third in the caution-free
race.

Shane Tatro of Dixmont returned to Speedway 95 to end the
streak of wins by Kris Watson of Hermon, by taking the win in the
Super Street Feature. Watson, who had locked in the championship with
his dominating run this season finished second, with Bucksport Artie
Maguire in third. The Supers went caution-free

Jordan Pearson of Glenburn, who earlier in the evening won
the championship in the Full Sized Truck division, finished the 2008
season with a victory in the final race of the Strictly Streets. 19
Year-Old rookie Wayne Parritt, Jr. of Steuben won the championship
with his second place finish. Travis Poulin of Holden finished third.

A blown motor drew out the only caution flag in the
Sport-Four finale, with David Green of Hampden the winner, Steve
Moulton of Glenburn in second, and David Shorey of Old Town third.
Lewis Batchelder of Dixmont finished 6th, and earned the 2008
championship, making it his second in a row in the Sport Four
Division.

Dana Harlow of Orrington picked up the top spot in the
Full Size Truck division, but second place finisher, Jordan Pearson of
Glenburn took the 2008 championship. Jim Carr, Jr. of Clifton was
third in the caution-free race.

Supercups, and Wicked Good Vintage cars will take to the track for the
final time this year at Maine's Family Fun Track…. Speedway 95!
